A decade-long journey to connect every neighbor in Coppell.
One Coppell evolved from Coppell's original allyship cohort program into a citywide initiative to reach all 40,000+ residents and city staff. It's not only an initiative — it's about learning, conversation, and connection.
One Coppell builds on that success by expanding participation to the entire community. Instead of limiting involvement to small groups, we’re creating multiple ways for every resident to engage, from educational programs and community conversations to partnerships.

Allyship Cohort Program Launches
Coppell's first cohort-based program begins, bringing together ~40 participants per cohort to learn about their neighbors and foster understanding.
2023–2024
The Evolution Begins
City leadership recognizes the need to scale from 40 participants to all 40,000+ residents. A new initiative is designed — shifting from cohort model to inclusive, citywide engagement.
2024
One Coppell Is Born
The initiative is rebranded as One Coppell with the tagline "You belong here." Roadshows introduce the vision to city council, staff, and community stakeholders.
March 2026
Planting Seeds of Connection
The inaugural One Coppell Mini Conference is held at the Coppell Arts Center in partnership with Kaleidoscope 2026, featuring workshops, conversations, and youth programming with Dallas College certificate integration.
2027 and Beyond
The Heart of Coppell
A larger standalone conference, expanded resources and downloadable guides, online community forum, K–8th grade activity kits, learning opportunities, and continued Together We Dine™ events will deepen Coppell's community connections.

Coppell is a community that learns—and wants to learn. Perpetuating a learning environment across all ages, and across diverse topics, will help Coppell retain the intellectually curious and educationally focused identity it desires.

Within Coppell, there is a desire to accomplish two main community objectives: to retain the small town feel while simultaneously creating an inclusive community fabric.
